Meet Dr. Dave

While every chiropractor brings their own unique strengths and heart to their practice, it's true that skills and approaches can vary just like in any profession—and that's what makes finding the right fit so rewarding. What truly sets chiropractic care apart from all other health fields is the adjustment: that gentle, precise realignment that unlocks your body's natural potential in a way nothing else can. Here, we focus on crafting an elevated, personalized experience—like savoring a thoughtfully prepared gourmet meal—so you get the quality, specificity, and lasting results you truly deserve.

If you know me, you know I've got opinions—and that's probably what drew me to chiropractic in the first place. It's a field brimming with independent thinkers who see health through a fresh, whole-body lens. What keeps me fired up? Witnessing the profound shifts in my patients' lives. From everyday aches like headaches, neck, and back pain to tackling tougher challenges—Ménière’s disease, vertigo, TMJD, post-spinal fusion recovery, and beyond—I'm here to craft care that's as unique as you are. I also firmly believe in laying a solid foundation in nutrition, movement, stress management, community, and those other everyday pillars that spark real, positive changes for a vibrant, healthy life. That's the holistic edge we bring to every visit—adjustments that align with the full picture of wellness.

Outside the clinic, you'll find me embracing the simple joys of our little Kansas City homestead. I'm honing my novice gardening skills (with mixed results), swinging the axe to split firewood, and making daily walks with my dogs a non-negotiable ritual. This year, I'm pushing to rack up more miles on my bike, chasing that fresh-air reset. And nothing tops those weekends when my wife, Dr. Emily McLeod—a dedicated veterinary student at Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine, set to graduate in May 2027—heads home. Together, with our furry crew, we soak up family time that recharges us all.

Finn

Lead Chiropractor
Director of Pawsitivity

Finn joined our family in July 2021, thanks to a twist of fate (and a lot of heart). Gracyn heard him crying in the woods next to our house, where he was tangled in vines by a long chain on an extremely hot evening. We brought him home, and he nearly climbed into the water bowl as he drank to his heart’s content. After some much-needed vet care and lots of love, this little fighter quickly grew on us — and before we knew it, Finn became part of the family.

These days, Finn proudly serves as our unofficial office therapy dog. He’s always on duty, soaking up every bit of attention he can get. (If you’re standing still, get ready — he’ll plug in like a Tesla for a quick recharge of affection!)

When he’s not greeting patients at the door, Finn loves going for walks, tackling agility courses, and jumping into any adventure that involves a car ride.

Gracyn

Director of Treat Facilitation

Gracyn is our 9 year old Cane Corso who has been with us since she was 9 weeks old.

She is an amazing girl who just warms everyones heart with her loving affection and generous mastiff snuffles. She is always down for a treat and most often will move right between your legs to properly position herself for a rump scratch.

Gracyn makes her own schedule deciding to take some days off to stay home and nap all day.

About the Team

More about the Office

The office is really an extension of my living room. When you walk in, you’ll step into an open, welcoming space I personally poured a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to transform into its current state. The open floorplan is intentional because I want everyone to interact, ask questions, and have great conversations.

While My Chiropractor KC is first and foremost a chiropractic office, we’re all about providing well-rounded care. Dr. Holly Battrum provides acupuncture care for patients to help with a wide variety of ailments.

Alongside adjustments, you’ll find a variety of active, patient-centered tools to help you keep moving and feeling your best. We believe movement is key to lasting change — so we’ve stocked the office with Crossover Symmetry systems, vibration plates, and kettlebells to help you build strength and vibrancy after your adjustment.
